Upon arrival at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted with check-in aboard the Maharajas’ Express. As the train departs for Agra, enjoy a leisurely breakfast onboard while soaking in the scenic landscapes. Mid-morning, there is a tour briefing to prepare you for the journey ahead. Upon arrival in Agra, indulge in a sumptuous lunch on the train before heading out to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the world’s most iconic monuments. After exploring the mausoleum and its serene gardens, return to the comfort of the train where you can relax or opt for additional activities. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner onboard and settle in for an overnight stay in Agra.

Day 2

Agra → Ranthambore → Jaipur | Heritage & Wildlife

Start your day with an early visit to the historic Agra Fort, exploring its grand halls, Musamman Burj, and tranquil courtyards. Return to the train for breakfast as it proceeds toward Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to Ranthambore National Park. After a scenic journey, enjoy lunch onboard before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive at Ranthambore, where you may spot tigers, leopards, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. After returning to the train, continue your journey to Jaipur, enjoying the views along the way. Wake up to a final breakfast onboard as the train approaches Delhi. Upon arrival, disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express, marking the end of your luxurious 3-night, 4-day journey through India’s most iconic landmarks, cultural treasures, and wildlife havens.

Don’t rush your Taj Mahal visit; the afternoon light makes photos breathtaking, and the riverside gardens are usually quieter - perfect for serene shots.
During the Agra Fort visit, explore Musamman Burj (the private tower where Shah Jahan was held) and the peaceful internal courtyards; these spots are far less crowded than the main halls.
Be patient during the Ranthambore game drive - tigers are hard to spot, but you’ll still see plenty of deer, leopards, and peacocks.
Bring binoculars for the safari; early mornings and late afternoons offer the best chances to spot wildlife.
The “Indian Evening” onboard is vibrant - join in to experience Rajasthani music, folk dance, and handicraft demonstrations, rather than just watching from your cabin.
