Where you'll be
From Passprt Community
- Go early afternoon to catch the penguin feeding shows around 11 am and 2.45 pm when crowds are lighter and the experience is most lively.
- Wear comfortable shoes and go slow through the three zones so you rest often and take in the rainforest and tunnel without rushing.
- Some tanks look a bit murky and exhibits could use more interaction so don’t expect modern displays but enjoy the genuine marine variety.
- Pop into the café or gift area to take a breather and escape the heat without spending much time queuing or walking back to your hotel.
- The underwater tunnel and penguinarium are superb photo spots right when light is good so plan your sequence to pause there briefly.
- Facilities are stroller and wheelchair friendly so families feel comfortable spending a full hour or two inside.
- Snacks inside are okay but bringing your own bottled water is a small comfort saver and avoids frequent slowdowns.
- The aquarium is informative and charming especially for kids and families, though if you seek high thrills you may feel relaxed not overwhelmed.
