- You’ll spot turtles right from the shore on Gili early morning around high tide it’s quiet and magical.
- Snorkelling around Gili T is vibrant with coral fish and turtles but sessions can be very short less than half hour so pace expectations.
- Carry fins and water shoes surfaces are rough with urchins and coral bits save your feet and swim more comfortably.
- The islands are peaceful and free of cars so cycling between spots and hopping beaches is fun affordable and chill.
- Be aware beaches in some parts of Gili get messy with trash stick to resort areas or help by picking up small bits when you can.
