- The natural slide at Kroya feels wild and safe when guided just right plus life jackets ease the fear especially if your back is sensitive.
- Best to visit early morning to enjoy misty soft light for photos and beat the midday crowd when the trail feels tight.
- Wear water shoes and bring extra water bottles and snacks the stairs are steep and slippery and the warung at the top has limited options.
- The 5 m jump is fun as a warm up while the 10 to 15 m ones are thrilling if you’re confident just follow the guide’s calls.
- Main Aling Aling waterfall is sacred don’t jump there stick to Kroya Kembar and Pucuk or ask if you can just view it if allowed by staff.
- If you want peace go toward the quieter pools beyond the main jumps but know the prime cliff jumping zones stay busy later in the day.
- Don’t attempt to climb the rocky cliff faces that tourists warned about it can be seriously dangerous and guides and locals stress not to try.
