  • Sunset is the best time to be here; grab a spot early because the beanbags and cafés along the shore fill up fast.
  • The waves look fun, but they can be rough - it’s better for surfers than for casual swimmers.
  • Massage ladies and vendors will keep approaching; a polite “no, thank you” works best if you’re not interested.
  • Traffic in and out of Legian gets heavy around sunset, so plan your transport if you don’t want to get stuck.
