- Some islands do not have ferries included in the pass so you might pay extra or change your route based on ferry operators and schedules.
- You get four non‑consecutive travel days within a month so you can spread island hops instead of rushing back‑to‑back.
- Only certain ferry companies are included such as conventional ones not fast options so expect longer crossing times but smoother rides.
- You must reserve seats for each ferry early since free reservations are mandatory and popular routes fill up fast.
- Activation starts from your first booked ferry so time your first journey wisely to avoid wasting a valid travel day.
- International legs count as days on the 6‑day pass but 4‑day pass covers only domestic routes so pick based on whether you want Italy‑Greece crossings.
- Booking online may be glitchy sometimes so try incognito browser or contact ferry company if reservation fails.
- Overnight or long ferry rides may save on hotel cost but cost you travel day so weigh time cost versus accommodation savings.
