From Passprt Community

  • Try to visit early morning before 10 AM when light is soft, fewer group tours arrive, and it feels peaceful and spacious.
  • The wide lawns and lotus‑filled moats give lovely views but there is less inside to explore beyond merus and small pavilions.
  • Wear modest clothes for easy entry but still carry your own sarong just in case rentals run out quickly.
  • Climb the little watch tower by the front lawn slowly if staff allow it time wise and get a good elevated view.
  • The outer bamboo path around the perimeter feels quiet and refreshing, perfect for a slow walk and calming vibe.
  • Better to go on Monday or Wednesday to dodge crowds especially during shoulder months like April–May or September–October.
  • Keep water with you and stick to flat paths since slippy spots near ponds can catch you by surprise after rain.
