Where you'll be
From Passprt Community
- The balloon ascent is smooth and peaceful, giving you a stunning sunrise view and a chance to spot desert wildlife before any crowds arrive.
- Wear warm layers because the desert is surprisingly cold before sunrise, especially while waiting for takeoff.
- Try to stand on the right side of the basket if you can, as it usually gets the best sunrise angle when the balloon begins to lift.
- If you are afraid of heights, avoid looking straight down during ascent and focus on the horizon to stay comfortable.
- Be patient during pickup; it is a shared transfer, and the route can feel a bit long depending on how many stops are needed.
- Listen carefully during the landing briefing; hot air balloon landings can be bumpy, and taking the correct posture makes a big difference.
- Take your photos early in the flight; once the balloon goes higher, the rising sun can wash out the colors.
- If you get motion sickness easily, avoid coffee before the flight because the early morning travel and floating movement can make you uneasy.
- Bring a power bank if you love taking photos because the early start and long transfer time can drain your phone battery faster than expected.
