Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

Overview

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel a booking made through Passprt (operated by Reshaping Travel Pvt. Ltd.) and the charges that may apply. Passprt acts as an intermediary between you and third-party vendors (activity operators, stays, and experience providers). Because each vendor sets its own terms, the exact cancellation window and any applicable fee for your booking are clearly displayed at the time of booking and in your confirmation. Where a specific booking states different terms, those booking-specific terms take precedence over the general guidance below.

How to Cancel

You can request a cancellation through any of the following channels:

  • By emailing us at team@passprt.com
  • Through your bookings section on our website or app
  • By messaging us on WhatsApp

Please include your booking ID, the lead traveller's name, and the reason for cancellation. Your cancellation is only effective once you receive a written confirmation from us on the same channel you used to request it. Until you receive that confirmation, please assume your booking is still active.

Cancellation Timeframes

Cancellation charges are calculated based on how far in advance you cancel relative to the activity, stay, or experience start time. Unless a different schedule is stated for your specific booking, the following standard timeframes apply:

  • More than 7 days before start: Full refund, less any non-refundable booking or payment gateway charges.
  • 3 to 7 days before start: Up to 75% of the booking value is refunded.
  • 24 to 72 hours before start: Up to 50% of the booking value is refunded.
  • Less than 24 hours before start, or no-show: No refund, as the vendor's capacity has typically been reserved on your behalf.

Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain bookings are marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase — for example, special-fare stays, peak-season departures, permits, tickets, and curated experiences with limited capacity. These bookings cannot be cancelled for a refund once confirmed. Their non-refundable status is clearly indicated before you pay.

Modifications and Rescheduling

Where the vendor permits, we will try to reschedule your booking to a later date instead of cancelling it, subject to availability and any difference in price. Rescheduling requests follow the same channels and timeframes as cancellations. A booking can usually be rescheduled once; further changes may be treated as a new booking.

Cancellations by Passprt or the Vendor

Occasionally an activity, stay, or experience may be cancelled by the vendor or by us due to unsafe conditions, weather, insufficient participants, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases you will be offered a full refund of the amount paid for the affected service, or the option to reschedule, at no additional cost. Passprt is not liable for incidental costs such as travel or accommodation booked separately from this Service.

Force Majeure

For cancellations arising from events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or government orders — refunds will follow the vendor's applicable force majeure terms. Where the vendor offers a credit or future-use voucher instead of a cash refund, we will pass that option on to you.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days of confirmation. The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. For full details on refund eligibility and processing, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
