- Appropriate clothing is required to enter the monasteries: ladies must wear skirts by the knee or longer; no pants, shorts, or sleeveless shirts allowed for ladies.
- Men are prohibited from wearing sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee.
- Comfortable shoes are essential for the hike.
- Visit the interiors of 1 monastery (choose between Great Meteoron or Varlaam); other monasteries can be viewed from the outside.
- Tickets for additional monastery visits can be purchased on-site (3 euros each).
- A professional English-speaking hiking guide will accompany you throughout the tour.
