From Passprt Community

  • Visiting between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm gives you a calmer beach vibe with fewer people around, while 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm gets lively with sunset watchers and photographers.
  • Swimming is difficult at low tide (around 11:00 am–2:00 pm) because of sharp coral and rocks; the waves are better suited for experienced surfers.
  • For sunset, skip the shoreline and head to the cliff viewpoint around 5:30 pm - you’ll get dramatic colors with fewer people in your frame.
  • The beachside shacks serve fresh coconuts and simple snacks, but always bring cash since card machines are unreliable.
  • There are no free public toilets or shade, so either use a café restroom for a small fee or rent an umbrella if you plan to stay longer.
  • Locals are welcoming, and the food stalls add charm, but avoid entering the water barefoot - water shoes help protect against coral cuts and sharp rocks.
